North and South Fringes

Our work days in June found our volunteers criss-crossing Norwich to visit several sites either side of the City. Variety is the spice of life they say and also that travel broadens the mind so clearly, we’re onto a good thing! This blog starts in the South and then heads to the northern Fringes of Norwich. Full steam ahead and then another pause

Since July we have been working our way through the long list of projects delayed by the Coronavirus lockdown in March. Our volunteers have been working in their groups gradually ticking-off projects, but we are now paused again by the latest lockdown – which should hopefully be lifted in early December. Benches and Boardwalks

Our recent outings have seen our volunteers building benches and repairing a boardwalk.

The first of the benches was installed at Marston Marsh on 26 July to replace one that had fallen over when the supports finally rotted. It was a very hot Friday and only a few of us had braved the weather but there was enough of us to complete our tasks for the day. Continue reading Benches and Boardwalks
