A lot has been happening

Easter arrived and provided a break for our volunteers. It has been a very busy and wet few months since our last blog in January. As usual our volunteers have been here and there around our many sites but generally keeping to the high ground for good reason. It may have been Winter, but it seemed more like the “rainy season” hereabouts testing our resolve and our waterproofs!

It has been a while since our last ‘Tailgate Tucker’ recipe and since the days are cold, wet and wintery then having a lovely biscuit to eat with your coffee, tea or hot drink while working outside, is a welcome treat. Hope you enjoy making and eating them too.

An Autumn Round up!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2024. Our volunteers have been taking a well-deserved break but will be itching to get back out there now that festivities are over and resume their activities. It was a very busy year for our volunteers and the autumn months found us catching up with tree management at various sites as well as repairs to gates, fences, and steps.
