A lot has been happening

Easter arrived and provided a break for our volunteers. It has been a very busy and wet few months since our last blog in January. As usual our volunteers have been here and there around our many sites but generally keeping to the high ground for good reason. It may have been Winter, but it seemed more like the “rainy season” hereabouts testing our resolve and our waterproofs!

So, that was Winter!

We are now officially in meteorological Spring and Winter has flown by with few really cold days and no snow locally. Just one work day in December cancelled because of the cold weather.

Out and about in February

February turned out to be a busy month with our volunteers working mostly in Taverham/Thorpe Marriott but also in Rackheath on behalf of Broadland District Council.

Trees, trees, trees

‘Plant a tree for the Jubilee’ is the call to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years on the throne. We have certainly contributed to this and will probably continue to do so over the coming weeks and throughout the year.
